****it, there aren't any more at sager or powernotebooks.
Does any one know if they'll restock? Or will they just sell the GTX ones from now on.

    Thanks

just wait, there is an expected replacement... probably a die shrink of the same card.

Or you can still order from other vendors... like:
    - www.pro-star.com (and their resellers)
    - www.eurocom.com (and their resellers)

Cool. Do you have any info on when to expect the die shrink?
    Cheers

Not sure, but it should be soon since they [Nvidia] has pulled the 9800M GT's at the moment.

No one knows, but it's a good guess. The 9800M GT's been discontinued :/ You can try some other resellers, some of which may still have it in stock (RJTech?)

VV Yeah, I figured, but RJtech still had some! (Surprising, at least as of yesterday)

Sager has pulled the option due to stock.

Pro-Star and Eurocom are the only two other Clevo importer OEMs that may still have stock.

FYI, remember that smaller vendors like RJtech get their stuff from Sager, so I would expect them to update their site soon to reflect the discontinued 9800M GT.

Oh man, I guess this means bad news to me and my laptop, since I am sending it for repairs to Sager today, and it is likely that the laptop has issues with the graphics cards, although the symptoms are alike to those of a failing motherboard.

Well, I hope I do not have to wait for the 55 NM 9800m GT refresh if they do not have any 8800m GTX's or 9800m GT's in stock. :(

On the other hand, having to wait for the 55 NM refresh would not be as bad, getting newer hardware with supossedly no "high-lead problems" would be quite a lot of peace of mind to me.

Prostar and its resellers still seem to be offering the GT, as well as the FX 2700M.

yeah, I just noticed this as well, was getting ready to purchase and noticed the option wasn't there. I just can't justify the dual GTX's. What do people recommend I do?

Oops, my mistake, even Prostar resellers have pulled the dual option.

Can't you guys buy a second card separately, then install it yourselves?

All I can say is, THIS SUCKS. I had been waiting for my pay to arrive to finally buy this baby and BAM, they just took it from me, the *******s.

Aaaaanyway, I just hope they'll release the die shrinked ones by november (cause I'll be gone by then - wink wink).
