    Hi,
will LCD panel with 1-channel LVDS work in a laptop that currently uses 2-channel LVDS screen?
To be more precise, I'm talking about my Clevo M980NU and its CMO N184H4-L03 which I'm planning to replace with Samsung LTM184HL01.
I'm able to adapt power delivery and backlight driving circuitry, but I'm not sure about LVDS interface.

Usually they have different pinout connectors.

This is also not a problem, as long as pinout is available on Web.

If you got an adaptor it should work so long as the pinout was the same AFAIK.

Sadly, I can't find datasheet for LTM184HL01 anywhere... however, screen I've received today is from Alienware, so I need to buy LVDS cable for M18X R1/R2 and check its connections according to service manual, which fortunately is available.
But I have second problem - where can I buy cable with plug compatible with Clevo's 88107-30001 connector. It was used in P170EM/P375SM/P370EM/P150SM-A/M890NU/X8100, but currently none of them are available cheaply in Poland.

Panel side the connections are pretty standard. It's the motherboard side that changes.
