    12.11 beta11 screen brightness adjustment issue on Win8

    I just install Win 8 and 12.11 beta11 but I notice that fn+f8 and f9 can't adjust the screen brightness. I roll back to 12.8 and it's OK. AMD should fix this bug.

    Anyway, has anybody tested the stability of 12.8 on Win 8?

    My laptop is P370EM with 7970m CF

    Sorry to say I haven't tested it. You have to remember though - it's a beta. That's one step closer to a "stable" release than alpha; it's considered a test phase still, but stable enough to release to the public for feedback and correction.

    Hopefully when the stable release is launched, that won't be a problem.

    Also, it's Windows 8 we're talking about. :p
