Hey guys, im wondering if anyone has been successful putting 120hz out to an external monitor from the np9170 yet. I have a samsung 22" monitor capable of 120Hz, I used to do it all the time with my desktop having only an old 8800GT in it. Unfortunately sager had to cheap out and put a DVI single link on the board and not dual. So my only option is to go through Displayport with an active DVI dual link adapter (about $100 and takes up a usb port as well) which will allow me the 1080p+ resolutions and 120hz. I'm wondering if anyone has done it yet though... I just forsee compatibility issues... like during the switch from the HD4000 integrated graphics to discrete, etc etc.

    What do you guys think?

It should be possible. The HD4000 can run 120Hz, it doesn't do any difference.
