    was wondering if for the newer models, the 17" line up, if there are any 120hz lcd's

    The 17.3's will have a 3D variant the P170HM3, but we don't know exactly what screen it is yet.

    all i7 and sandy bridge use the same lcd 1920 x 1080 backlit

    Explain? I'm not sure I quite follow what you mean. All models have a different screen model in them.
