Hi everyone, new monitor, new problems.

I bought a Eizo FG2421- monitor and i can't get it to work on 120hz- refresh rate. More specific, there is no 120hz- option anywhere, only 50, 59, 60 and 100hz. 100hz works fine.

I have installed newest intel and nvidia drivers, and tried older ones. Always the same. I tried aoc g2460PQU- display and 144hz worked great also, but there was no 120hz option with aoc either! Strange huh ?!

I have installed .inf in device manager for display, but no help. I'm using displayport and I have tried 2 cables. Im not sure what revision these cables are, but they do work with 144hz so I don't know why I can't get 120hz.

    Any help is appreciated :)

Can you create a manual resolution/refresh rate in the intel control panel or does it give you an error? You should entirely concentrate on the IGP since it is the one controlling the display.

Only way I could make a custom resolution, was with the Intels own Custommodeapp, but when I make it, it only appears on the intels own page, not in the windows page. So when I select it from intel, it reverts back to 100hz from the windows page ( right click on desktop, resolutions, advanced, monitors) . So is it that for some reason, the windows / intel doesnt really regocnize my displays resolutions? In the Intels GPU drivers information page, it doesnt regocnize the display as eizo, only generic and the resoltuons are missing.
