    how did they manage to squeeze it in there? isnt there thermal issues?

    Its predecessor could run the 280M without major issue, so I'm not too surprised.

    No. Someone already squeezed in 280M GTX in the M860ETU which only has one fan, and the temps are acceptable. I guess the W860CU will handle it quite well because it has a fan for the GPU and the CPU.

    It is not the mobile version of the desktop card. Its just a rebrand of the 9800M GTX with a little more shaders.

    Not with 2 fans cooling the GPU and CPU, this is a great addition.

    280M isn't that much hotter than a 260M

    Yeah apparently the thermal differences in the 260m and 280 are very small. One of the people that got the new M15x put in a 280 and It worked just fine. The difference between a single 260 and 280 is minimal performance wise unless the 260 is undervolted like the Asus g51's.

    sytange since the 280ms r alot more cash then the 260ms

    280M GTX=$490
    $75 is not that much more when you are already spending over $400 for a GPU.
    I got those prices from a barebones reseller.
