WSXGA+ =1680x1050 is the best choice for a 15 inch laptop. Lots of real estate, sharp and sufficient for work with many windows.

WSXGA+ Big working space and if you ever get a defective pixel it won't annoy you because it's much smaller than WXGA+.

Better for your eyes without rising the DPIs: WXGA+

    More working space: WSXGA+

    ;)

    90$ ,yea.
I payed 195$ for an upgrade from WSXGA+ matte to the WUXGA glossy. And I don`t regret a cent.

    Definitely worth it!

Screens are one of the things you don't want to skimp on because they're one of the things which you can't change easily once you've got it.

Do you know the specs from both panels?

Remeber that lower ress panels have normally more brightness than higher ress ones. I say go for the WXGA+ panel, but thats only my humble opinion...

Pick the ress that you think that will fill better your objectives.

i would go with WSXGA. WXGA are on all run of the mill lapotps. you dont have a run of the mill laptop do you? If the insides are going to stand out (im assuming this is going to be a high spec laptop) then you want a capable screen that can use the full potential of the innards.
WUXGA is too high on a 15.4 inch in my opinion though.
