When i look at configs for 8170 there isn't a matte choice... :( also $200 is kinda pricey to get anti glare screen

should I just downgrade to a 8150 and get matte? I'm not a big fan of seeing reflections in my laptop. I never use it outside but the areas I use it in my apt are decently lit.

Sager does not offer a Matte screen on 17.3" but you can find them from resellers that offer them directly through them. For 17.3" it is a 72% gamut vs 95% on the 15.6" models, obviously 95% is a nice step up.

If you can go to the 8150 the 95% matte screen is really nice and several people have left great reviews for it.

only real advantage of the np8170 is the bigger screen (no difference in real estate), a bit better cooling (which is questionable at best since some benchmarks here are cooler than my np8170) and finally the extra hdd slot (you can replace the odd with another hdd if you'll be using an ssd/hdd combo).

so unless you need those options, I'd say the np8150 with a matte screen upgrade as well :)

    Hutsady,

I am gonna buy from xoticpc and would like to know if I can send the notebook to a hotel, if there's any problem with that, since its a quick trip to the states this time.

Any mail to contact more directly?

    Thanks!!
