Thought I would try some new drivers today, but I started with 177.41 and decided there was no point in testing others. This picture is with my cpu at 3.2ghz everything else is stock. Fps in mass effect went up at least by 3, crysis showed 3-5 fps gain. :D

I see your netgear connection is excellent...

I"m not sure if you can OC the GPU with the CPU multiplier set up, but if you can, you should be able to get close to 11k if you OC your GPU right. I'm at 10.2k with the 9300, I think you might have a chance for 11!

I didn't. I do have my PCI-E Frequency set to 130MHz however. So its a GPU OC only. Got that at 1.15v, with everything in Vista turned off, and the system sitting in my fridge! :0 ! Still researching getting the CPU and GPU to OC together. All leads point toward BIOS and a voltage chip on the main board.

Eleron, people over at mvktech have been getting the core of their cards to close to 800mhz on that system. I think you could do some crazy stuff with that.

I will have to do a flash overclock to get the graphics card to overclock. I don't use setfsb since I have a extreme processor, but that means I can do a cpu and gpu overclock.

It looks as if you are running xp bwhxeon.

With vista64, from my experiences I've tried 177.39,.40, and now .41, and I actually saw a decrease of about 100 3dmark06 points with .41 compared to .40.

    .39 and .40 were comparable.

All were pretty good for crysis/mass effect with regards to gaming, though. I think .40 gave me about 1 more fps on average for crysis (gpu test) but I only ran it once so take it with a grain of salt.

 course I use xp, I won't use vista till I am forced to "which is probably gonna be never". I don't usually try dozens of drivers, If I find one thats better than the current one I have and gives me 0 problems I use it. The previous driver I had installed was 175.70. and 177.41 is quite a improvement over 175.41.

Yea, I was just noting it in case people (like me) who like to make things harder for ourselves (like vista) want to see how the drivers compare on it.

I was using 175.70 as well before this (well, before I tried the 177.39/40/41), and I also noticed quite an improvement with all of them compared to it, at least with crysis and mass effect.

Anyway, just adding some vista feedback :p
