    Today got email from pcspecialist in UK that 18” laptop should be replaced shortly with the Omega Supreme Laptop.Anyone hear about this?

    They're phasing out p180hm in favor of the newer p270wm?
    Omega supreme should be how they call their p270wm clevo, like other sellers do such Malibal Lotus etc etc..

    Nope, to our knowledge the 18" was discontinued as there was not much of a market for a laptop of that size.

    The P270/NP9270 will be the replacement in a touch more manageable 17" size but should still offer dual GPU and all of the other bells and whistles worthy of such a monster of a laptop.

    "The Omega Supreme will be 17.3” however it will run the desktop version of the IVY BRIDGE CPUs, it needs 2 power packs to charge it and will be the fastest laptop ever made"

    Seem like P270HM, butP270HM use Sandy Bridge-E or Ivy Bridge-E
    not Ivy Bridge....

    It's weird, I hope it's a new monster rather than P270..

    This may still be the P270EM but I could not say for certain.

    Also, does anyone else think the naming sounds more like a burrito than a laptop?

    On topic. Maybe this will be something to consider rather than the np9270. I'm waiting for the GTX 680m to come out before I purchase a computer. The wait is killer :c
