    18-inch laptops?

    Will there be a refresh of the x8100? or maybe an entirely new model that has SB + 485m? or even an 18-inch with a desktop cpu..

    i prefer a laptop that has a bigger screen. if this year there'll be a new 18-inch one, i'd wait. :D

    Theres been talk about an x8100 refresh when the new amd gpus are realeased in march. So , hopefully.

    Yeah, not sure when in March, though. Could be end of March which means 2 months lol. Not fun to look at at that way.

    My guess is that the X8100 refresh will have SB and HD 6970M crossfire.

    Yeah, 485m is iffy since the current x8100 only handles 75W cards and 6970M TDP isn't clear yet.

    Seeing as it's been shown to work in a w860cu, it has to be 75w or less. Hopefully they'll be widely available soon and we can see detailed numbers.

    as long as this year it will be launched, im willing to wait. i don't know why but having an 18.4 inch laptop seduces me :D

    will an SB cpu be competitive enough against the desktop cpus like those on x7200?
