Hey friends! I've seen similar threads here. All of them are outdated and not applicable. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I have the same problem. 1903 broke my CCC. Fan control doesn't work (different profiles), FN + LED lights on/off doesn't work, and FN+Touch pad key doesn't work... all of this worked prior to 1903! If someone has any solution/idea, do share!

1903 seems to be breaking a lot of drivers. Perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling CCC might solve it, if not try a different version until you find the one not completely borked by the update.

What version are you on and what is not working? These details are crucial to help find a solution. Have you tried a basic re-install of CCC after the update?

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 1903 Update with Clevo CC 3.0 V1.24 and everything works fine. Obviously there is some discrepancy here.

For me, I tried CCC 3.0 v. 1.30, 1.24, and 1.14. Switching profiles, for example for the fans, just makes the profile always go back to Quiet Mode after clicking the back button and back into the profile for them. No ACPI errors or anything from this. And the LED control works, but not with the FN + * (on numpad) to turn on and off. They also don't react to FN + - and FN + + for brightness control.

And yeah, tried reinstalling and installing and none of it is working. Even more interesting: After having upgraded, I get hkmoufltr.sys crashes on Chrome constantly. CCC has updated this file, so it's not the original. I think the record is 6 BSODs in 8 hours. Something really weird is happening post 1903.

Guys, I managed to fix it all

First, I uninstalled CCC and ran these in powershell:
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    • Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
After this, I restarted and reinstalled CCC.

Everything works again! Try it. See if it helps?

The tip above should work for fixing windows image integrity and, if CCC has drivers which poll windows dll's and somehow have lost permissions during the migration, a reinstall of CCC post the restore process should fix it.
On a funny note: The time has come for windows 10 users to try and run programs in compatibility mode for an earlier service pack/update version. Oh boy microsoft... oh boy.

    Hi,

I just tried what you posted, and my control center still wont launch for some odd reason.

When it used the 2nd command, i get a few red colored messages which seem to indicate some items were not cleared?

Would that affect the ability of control center to launch successfully?

Did you uninstall the control center before doing that? I uninstalled all related things to CCC before doing those methods.

Yes, i did uninstall the CC3 app and the CC3 driver.

I think i'll try it again and see how it goes.

I get a few error messages such as these,

The thing really roots into your PC, it appears. Yes, could be an account issue. Strange, but at least it works now. I'm glad to know that.

As for some of those messages: some are in relation to .net framework and others being that they're already updated to the newest version. Nothing really to worry about if they weren't successful.

I thought the 2nd command was to clear any dependencies from the previous control center installation.

I tried a couple of times to uninstall and reinstall control center, finally i thought i might as well try it on a new account before i had initially decided to reset my windows. Luckily it didnt have to come to that.

Ok, i just found out the culprit which caused the control center from launching, it was the bloody rivatunerstatisticsserver software which was preventing control center from launching, once i closed it, control center was back up and working again!

Yes, it clears and fixes dependencies. But if you got software that interferes with CCC, that's a whole different story. In my case, I had a messed up Windows installation or something. I had missing drivers, too, after upgrading to 1903 from 1803. Now I got a whole different problem that requires me to RMA my laptop. But I'm happy to know that you sorted it out. I had literally reinstalled Windows myself in the past just to fix CCC's not launching problems. A little extreme, and that didn't even fix it. The dependencies thing did for me.

I've been trying for days to figure out why CC3 wasn't opening (I discovered it when I wanted to change my keyboard lights to holiday colors). The event viewer was showing an error in ControlCenter30.exe related to d3d9.dll. I tried uninstalling, cleaning, going through the registry, turning off fast boot, trying the Obsidian PC utilities instead. I was about to try some of the more drastic stuff. I saw your post about RTSS and sure enough, closing MSI AB and RTSS allowed my Control Center to function again. Thanks for finding this.

It is good to have afterburner and RTSS on a delayed startup otherwise, CCC3 cannot poll the sensors on the GPU.
