So yeah, I got an NP 8662 15" but the text is small for it. If I try putting the resolution down it's going to get blurry all of a sudden. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to have normal sized icons and text on this resolution without going down. I already tried adjusting the DPI to 125% the icons are fine but the text is pretty small. Firefox is freaking really tiny. Anyone have any advice? I don't know if this related to anything at all but it said my computer was using a ThinkPad 1920x1200 instead of using the Nvidia display options.

    Thanks for the future suggestions

Hold ctrl and use the mouse wheel to scroll to a size you feel comfortable with?

In Windows 7, you can also select a custom DPI %, like 200%

Got your firefox solution right here and here and here.

Default Zoom rests down in the lower right and remembers the zoom level you choose for individual websites (text, images, everything gets bigger uniformly) while offering you comfortable intervals to choose from. I also compliment it with the not necessary zoom toolbar, which gives you plus, minus and reset buttons by the address bar. Lastly is my fav, Image Zoom, just hold the right mouse button over an image and scroll to enlarge or shrink. They are very light addons and I haven't noticed any slowing down of firefox.

Well I had the same issue with 15.6" at 1920x1080. The text was waaaaay too small even with me adjusting the dpi and fonts and what have you. In the end I could get the text larger where I was comfortable but in a lot of applications don't allow resizing of fonts and thus your stuck with the hard-coded font of the developer.. hence very very tiny. For 15.6" it was just too small for me so I can't even imagine what it's like at 1920x1200. So now I'm looking for a 15.6" with either 1600x900(sager) or 1680x1050(16:10) Best of luck!

the 16:10 1680x1050 is perfect.. this coming from a 16" 1920x1080 which I thought was still okay, a tad bit small. But I do love 16:10 after coming from a 16:9, more vertical screen estate rocks
