How about using the VGA and DVI output at the same time, but NOT use the laptop monitor, have it disabled???

Depends on the driver I think. I know it was possible with one of the previous models (D900K?), but I'm not sure if the D900C supports it.

I was able to find another cable and do an experiment last night. I connected my D901C via VGA and my regular monitor via DVI. IT WORKED! I'm using Ubuntu Linux, and I was able to get both external monitors working at the same time. The nVidia monitor tool in Linux would only let me use 2 of the 3 monitors (so no laptop screen, or laptop screen and either external monitor). This is exactly what I wanted to happen, so now I can have my cake and eat it too!

What I plan to do is get a giant 30-inch 2560x1600 monitor, then either a 19-inch or 24-inch widescreen off to the side. I want to put my D901C to the side and use the Logitech G19 keyboard. I already have the kickass G7 mouse.
