    just curious if anyone has attempted overclockin theirs since ive been told theyre pretty underclocked.. i plan on OC'in mine once ive recieved some feedback from those who are more experienced in this department

    Well, I have never OC'ed a laptop, but considering OC'ing usually involves more heat generated. Unless you plan to get a laptop cooler and use it when ever you use your laptop, don't bother trying to OC'ing it. Otherwise have fun with a REALLY EXPENSIVE paperweight.

    underclocked....you mean GPU then, CPU is clocked as it should. Many forum members have been overclocking their 8600GT's, there is a lot of posts in Gaming forum.
