I'm almost used to it. It is closer than having it in the corner. If you observe your hand visually, you'll find that you no longer need to move the entire hand to reach the Ctrl key. The button is smaller than on a full keyboard but my miss rate is falling rapidly.

Heh, I must be a slow learner because I still miss mine every time. At least now there is some hope for me. For some reason I am hitting Pause Break instead of Delete every time as well even though the positioning is identical to my previous laptop. I guess it just takes some getting used to.

glad you're getting used to it, but you must have some strange fingers because there is no way that the position of the ctrl button (relative to WSAD) is natural or comfortable.

In gaming, your hands will be moving quickly anyway and so reaching farther for Ctrl might be second nature. Just move to ESDF. Or get used to moving less.
