2090 Info From Sager

NP2090 Status update 7/11/2007

We have received our new shipment of NP2090 WXGA (1280x800) and will resume shipment.

All orders submitted on or before 7/5/2007 with select configuration will be filled, any of the following configurations will not be shipped.

Orders with 2GB memory modules, ( 1 x 2048MB or 2 x 2048MB) will not be Shipped. ETA late week of July 16th.

Orders with Bluetooth module option, will not be shipped. ETA late week of July 16th.

Orders with TV-Tuner module, Will not be shipped. No ETA

Orders that has been submitted after 7/5/2007, will begin shipping late week of July, 16th.


NP2090 with WSXGA will be available and begin shiping late July.

 

Hmm, I have a 1 x 2GB RAM configured, so I guess mine's gonna ship out at the earliest July 16.

Still good news, though!

 

Wow...

i wonder how much xoticpc and powernotebooks have profited from the monthly interest..

i believe that the most of us who pre-ordered the np2090 payed over $1000

and that's gonna be a lot of money earned from the interest

since we all have PRE-PAYED and have been waiting for almost a month...

I think that xoticpc and powernotebooks should use 1 day shipping for all of us...

it would be a thoughtful action that would make everyone to be happy.


I will not get mad or something if you guys choose not to do it. it's only a suggestion.

As I replied to your other post:
We do not make interest in non-interest bearing liability reserve accounts which is where all monies received for pre-orders are kept.

We appreciate the suggestion, but even if we could collect interest, if you were to do the math you would see that it wouldn't amount to $5 which is not enough to upgrade shipping...or anything else really.

 

haha im still waiting for the high resolution glossy screen to come out. the wait is unbearable haha

 

Ooohh, should I go back to the WXGA screen or stay with the WSXGA+ screen? Tough decision. I think I'll stay with WSXGA+.

OK, this may sounds dumb, but just to make sure. By that statement, does that mean that you guys now have the machines and that the assembled NP2090s will be shipped starting tomorrow from the store to the customers?

 

I have a 2GB configuration as well as WSXGA, so I guess I won't get mine till August.

 

I wish I could wait until then, but I have to leave in the middle of august to Uni, and I would like to have it at least a few weeks before I get there.

 

I leave for college August 18th and I'm hoping I get mine on the 13th at the very latest.

 

*sigh*, I ordered mine a little bit after 7/5/2007, WXSGA,2 gigs of RAM.

Justin, when do you think I will get mine?

Sorry I am unable to provide with exact dates. The quantities are undetermined at this time We are relaying what information we receive from the manufacturer.

I had to cancel mine. Needed asap. Really wish I didnt have to although the regret fades with reading the WSXGA wont be out till late July.

I will say, my experience with XoticPC, although short, was wonderful. It was nice to call and get a person. The person(s) we dealt with when canceling our order was so nice to us and didnt show any kind of ill manner to us canceling.

I complained several times afterwards about having to cancel simply because of how well Xotic treated us. I truly plan to make my next purchase from Xotic, its just time restraints prevented me from doing so with this order.

I ended up going with the Dell 1520 since is almost identical hardware and at the time (Coupon expired) it could be had fast and 200$ cheaper.

oh good, i just ordered mine with WXGA and 1GB memory today.

speaking of which, Justin, I've selected my form of payment as check. The address provided is:

So I write the check (make payable to who? also, do i write for the amount after discount rate?) put it in an envelope and mail it to that address. Am i suppose to include more information?

It depends on when they arrive. If they arrive at the end of this week they are projecting it may be later in the following week when shipments start.

This thread and the Press Release thread are only very temporary in nature so I do not see any reason to Sticky them. They will be obsolete within a couple of weeks.

 

And given that we can't shut up about how unfair life is, those threads are likely to remain close to the top until we all get our pacifiers... er... I mean laptops.
