Basically, I've never been more confused trying to set up basic drivers and programs for any computer.
I have every driver on the CD that came with my order for Vista 32bit installed. The Windows experience index tool is not able to update my score. The dialog showing the process just gets stuck. I need to update it because it's at 1.0 because of the graphics.
I have no idea how to operate the camera.
The intel turbo memory console says ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive are disabled. The Intel Flash Cache Logic chip device under Storage controllers in device manager has a yellow exclamation point.
There is an unknown device that I can't identify in device manager.
I had the same issues and a few more with 64bit. How do I fix all of these problems?

Was Vista pre-installed by Sager or you did it?
Looks like you don't have the right drivers for your devices :/.
Basically you could go to all exclamation point devices, right click, then update driver, then point to the CD you have. If it's not working, you have the wrong driver CDs. I guess all drivers are available on Sager website. -
Vista was not pre-installed. Almost all the drivers installed properly. There is no reason for the windows experience rating to not refresh. The camera has no exclamation point, yet I can't access it from the Scanners and Cameras control panel option. Trying to update the intel flash cache logic chip from the cd didn't change anything. Neither did downloading the drivers from the sager site and using the setup file to install again. It said the best driver was already installed. The unknown device was the IR driver, so that is one problem fixed. I also get the nvlddmkm.sys stopped responding error.

Hi, I had also many issues at first...Went from Vista64 (which had a lot of software compatibility problems) to Vista32 (just slow) and then XP.
During my XP struggle I learned that most of the automated setup programs on your driver DVD don't work as they should. Try to uninstall the devices that are giving you problems, reboot and then manually locate the drivers for your OS from the DVD.
It sounds like your graphics card has the basic VGA driver installed, instead of NVidia ones. I believe that one is the only automated setup that works.
Wow buttons driver is located on bizcom-us website, the rest are also in Sager's website.
good luck! -
I had the similar issue with my WEI for the Sager 2090. I was patient enough for it to give me a message saying my Display Drivers failed to load in the bottom right.
After I updated by Display Drivers though, the WEI did fine. -
The graphics card has the Nvidia drivers. It shows up as NVIDIA Geforce 8600M GT in the device manager. I get the nvlddmkm error when I'm doing refreshing the windows experience index. I still don't know how to fix this issue. I hope i don't end up regretting this purchase. How come the pre-installed laptops don't have this issue?
-
Are those drivers straight from the CD? Because those are the drivers that kept crashing my WEI. They were showing my video card as the 8600GT as well...however my drivers were not up to date.
After I updated them from laptopvideo2go.com, I was able to run WEI just fine. Also, ByTor has a good point...you may want to try what ByToR suggested as well. -
I've tried removing the video drivers quite a few times. I installed drivers from CD and from laptopvideo2go. Neither worked. Can you point me towards the drivers you used? 163.11 for Vista 32bit didn't work for me.

Thats strange. Those are the ones I updated the very first time I had issues with WEI and it fixed it for me.
Would you be able to check the Event Viewer and see if it gives you any hints? Here are the instructions in case you need them...

Run WEI and after it crashes, immediately go into the Event Viewer. You are basically looking for any "!" Errors or Warnings in the Viewer. See if that guides you anywhere. -
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
That's the error I get, but I get it at other times too, not just with WEI. I've searched for a solution for that error, but I did not found anything that worked. -
You can use a tool like DriverCleaner to be sure your uninstall was OK and clean before installing new ones.
I did install laptopvideo2go in XP (162.xx) and they worked fine. -

I started getting blue screens from the video drivers too. After some searching I found that this is a potential fix for the nvlddmkm problem. I will try this fix sometime soon.

I still haven't figured out how to use the intel turbomemory or the camera...
