This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    2090 webcam, no software

    This may have been asked already, but after removing 64 bit and installing 32 bit Vista, I don't seem to have any software for my webcam. I installed the drivers, but that's of no use if I can't even access the camera. I think I've read other poeple mention something about watchdog, or something with dog in it, but I definitely don't have it on my comp.

    Dangit again, I installed watchdog and it's definitely not what I thought it was. I'm still looking for software to use my camera.

    You meen with aim or messenger? I haven't tried yet, but I still would like a program to take pictures.

    I just did a video conference with a friend through msn, so I can confirm that the webcam works, but I'm still looking software to take pictures with it.

    could you just use print screen? then paste it in paint or photoshop or whatever and save.
