    2630qm low clocks?

    just as soon as i fixed my .net issue i went to play a game of bf3 and then i couldnt get past 30fps, even on the lowest settings and resolution. when i boot my computer it says its running at 800mhz, and heres a picture of a cpuz, also im running it on maximum performance power settings. help!

    It's normal. All intel CPUs, even desktops, clock down when not pressed. I believe it applies to AMD CPUs as well.

    Take out the AC Adapter,

    Take out the battery,

    press the power button for 15 seconds.

    Re insert the battery.

    Re insert the adapter.

    Boot, and it should be back to the original state.

    I had this problem sometimes, and this would always fix the problem.
