This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    this might be a really stupid question but im curious is it possible to have a tri-boot with mac osx, vista and xp if u have a 5793? if so how is this done and how much hard drive space wud be taken up just by the os/apps?? iv heard something about a software called ubuntu i think...what is ubuntu?..lol...

    You cannot legally use OS X on a non-Apple PC (against EULA) so thread closed.

    XP/Vista is easy.

    May want to look at some sort of bootloader to run XP and Linux ... GParted is pretty popular.
