    3 monitors without DisplayPort

    Is it possible to have 3 monitors without DisplayPort using the following setup? I am trying to do it but it is not working

    HD7970M (Switchable)

    1 Built-in display
    2 HDMI
    3 DVI

    In the intel control panel, I only have the option for 2 displays
    In the windows 7 graphics settings, I can see the 3 displays and choose the 3 but when I hit apply, 1 of them is automatically disconnected

    No, the IGP does not support more than 2 without display port, it either needs both external as display port (your model does not support this) or it needs to use wireless display technology. The IGP operates all displays at all times in your model.
