I tried to update to the 344.65 driver for my P150HM with 680M and got stuck. I modded the nvcvi.inf to include the 000.1558 in the subsys but the install fails every time. Now when I try to go back to the old 33x drivers the same thing happens. Has anyone successfully updated to the 344.65 driver on their P150HM?

Win 8.1 Pro x64 with DSE and UAC disabled. Just completely removed the driver left over with DDU and it still doesn't work Just says driver install failed.

Have you tried grabbing an inf from laptop video 2 go? I know the inf used each driver seems to change.

I tried theirs, tried my self-modded one, then tried the old one I was using. None of them will install. I googled this issue and it seems like I'm not the only one. Something about Nvidia driver and W8.1. Anyways, I reinstalled Windows and my self modded driver worked without a hitch. Thank you for the help.

i had an error as well.
also tried to delete nvidia experience and that failed also.
if youve got nvidia experience get rid of it as more times than not it causes problems.
went back to my old fassioned way of safe mode clean and it worked.

I just wanted to add that I installed the slightly newer 344.80 driver without any problems on my X7200 + GTX680M.

Just ticked the "Clean install" box when running the Setup. Of course I had to add my string (%NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.0270.1558% = Section015, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_72001558) to the nvaci.inf before running the Setup.

Good news, interesting that the 344.65 set would just not play ball.

Well after hearing the 344.65 I thankfully skipped it. Chances are that it might work with my notebook as it doesn't have an integrated gpu.

Did anyone manage to install 344.75?
    What's the latest everyone running?
I'm outta date on my video drivers. Hadn't updated them in a year.

Guys I think my internal NIC is broken (Jmicron 25x/26x I guess).
Is there a way to replace it or it's soldered to the main board?

What would be my other options ?
I relly need a LAN card or adapter but which should get as close to 1gbps speeds. On my desktop I get 960-980mbps download speeds through my FTTH connection.
Will and USB 3.0 adapter do it?

    Thanks
