So - I doubt this is actually an accumulation of the actual world records, but I thought it was fun none the less.

According to this website, my 3630qm holds to current world record for the XTU benchmark score of 678. (I'm MKEGuy on there)

Try at beat me! I'd like to see how it really stacks up against others, especially an Alienware!

Well you are not too likely to find other brands here lol. I see you tweaked the base clock to get the most out of it, so the memory is running at 1696 DDR?

I'll be honest with you - I'm flirting with the edge of my knowledge base as far as tuning goes. I'm at a very conservative - "mmmmm.... yeah.... so we're gonna go ahead and try this and see how it all works out in the end.)

Yes, I did tweak the reference clock with XTU. I do not remember that being an option with the stock bios. In fact I'm 99% positive I remember giving it a try but I can't confirm that. But, I recently updated to Premos' bios and that indeed has allowed me to play with the reference clocki.

I have not confirmed what the RAM is running at so I can not give you a definitive answer on that one but I will check in to it and let you know!

And yes - I noticed where I am posting this but I do also see a lot of the Alienware couks hanging out around here on a fairly regular basis so I figured since I own a Clevo - I'll make my post here. Besides, I dont want to catch any of those Alienware cooties!!! :p lol (kidding)

Lol, well just watch the base clock mods, they can cause very funky issues to happen.

    Yeah, Im not going crazy.

I did a little poking around about the memory speed, and coupled with the fact it (XTU) let me move the memory multiplier to 14x (still working on a way to verify its actually running at this) according to XTU the memory is running at 1980.110 mhz.

And yes - Im being EXTREMELY careful!!!!!!

Just a note that if windows 8 users have XTU change the clocks without rebooting it will change the system clock and benchmarks will give funny results.

Someone called him Primo and now you call him Premo, but the guy who makes this wonderful BIOS is Prema :D
Once again, thanks Prema for your efforts, people are really enjoying your work!!

lol - yes you are right... I hunt a lot to Primos comes to mind a lot as they make a lot of game calls and such.

Anyone else have some XTU Benchmark scores to post wtih the 3630qm!? Curious if anyone else has a score close to this or if I'm really that lucky with a good chip.

    Nice!

Looks like you already uploaded it to HWBot too and you hold 1st place for the 3740qm! Sweet business. I wish I could play with the 3630qm a bit more like the 3740's and above.

EDIT: Just clicked on the link, I guess the above sentence is a little obvious lol. I had run over to HWBot on my own and looked it up.

The latest lowest quads are partially unlocked which is odd considering the way they have gone on the desktop.

Yes, I know - but being able to play with the reference clock only is hardly enough to consider it unlocked. Being able to add voltage and such is needed for stability!

The 4700MQ (the lowest quad haswell) allows +2 to be added to the multipliers actually.
