Did they ever offer, or show intent to offer a 3D screen for the different Clevo x7200 variations?

Now that I'll have a dual 485m in SLI, I could probably have a decent 3D experience.

    Just curious.

im not sure, but i wonder if the screen from the p170hm would work, but i doubt the bios will support that. another thing you could do is use an external monitor or tv, becuase that could be around the same price. btw my favorite vehicle in badco is my picture.

The screen technology that is in the P170HM3 is unique to that laptop. Its embedded displayport, while normal laptops are straight LVDS (think embedded DVI), so its not a swappable thing.

If they did make a 3D screen that would electrically fit, and they updated the nvidia drivers to whitelist the setup then yes it would work =)

i tested 485m sli with many drivers and none of them can do 3d......
only can run 3d at single gpu

btw a normal 60hz can physically do 3d vision 30hz+30hz barely enjoy 3d, but without nvidia 3d vision ready, no can do, even 120hz 200hz 300hz
