Hey guys, using a NP6370. I did a clean install of the drivers(uninstalled it, ran it on safe mode, used driver sweeper/fusion) a few times, but to no avail. 3Dmark11 still gives me the "The requested functionality is not supported by the device or the driver." error. Though when I hit "analyze" files for the NVIDIA chipset, physx, etc, there were a few 'display' files I couldn't delete- had to buy the premium version. Could that be the source of the problem?

(Also, nvidia PhysX has disappeared from my programs and features, but its stated that it is installed. Weird. )

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

whats your laptop spec? cpu/gpu/ram/hdd. also which nvidia driver have you loaded.

i had problems with vantage as the latest phsx would crash the benchmark but loading the previous phsx version worked fine.

    i7 3630QM
    GTX 660m 2GB
    8GB ram
    750gb hdd, 128gb SSD

    I've loaded the 314.22 driver.

On the other hand, it could be I installed my drivers wrongly. Any detailed guides on how to properly remove and install drivers?

if its only the graphics drivers then i always use safe mode as well. walkthrough in sig below.

if you loaded any other drivers then there could be conflict as clevo drivers need to be loaded in a certain order. did you get the driver disc with your computer as it shows the order on there.

at work at mo so cant give a detailed response

the software that opens shows normaly two tabs. start at the top and work your way down. you will have to reboot many times.

you can also find the user manual on the disc.

if you didnt update any of the other drivers then no you dont need to update/reload them. the disc is mainly for when you do a operating system clean install.
the graphics drivers on the disk are the ones your oem/supplier would have tested for your model. if the latest dont seem to work then i would reload the ones on the disc.
i initially had the same problem changing from the oem supplied gpu drivers. it took in total 4 reinstalls to get them working corectly again. then i updated to the latest WHQL drivers from nvidia and ever since then ive had no problems at all.

i always try to post the latest drivers as soon as they are released but working in a hospital some times i dont even get a chance to look at the forum as so busy.

this is where i get them and this is the best site as it lists the last 15 drivers released. for a while i would not touch the beta drivers and stick to the whql.

Nvidia Drivers > NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

make sure you change the drop down boxes to your operating system / notebook / 64bit etc

ah, ok. I'll try to re-install to the the oem supplied gpu drivers. Thanks! The steps are all the same right? its just that when you boot up you'll install from the disc?

also, should I be worried that PhysX is not appearing although its stated that it is installed(when I installed the newest graphic drivers)

for phsx open the nvidia control panel and check through the tabs. physx should be showing there. they just work in the background so you never have to do anything with them.

also you could try the custom load so it shows you the option what to load. at work so cant remember of the top of my head.

not sure of your model but you can check out other scores > http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...-3dmark11-3dmark06-vantage-scores-survey.html

the links are in my sig below.

now run 3dmark, vantage and even though its old 3dmark06

once youve finished the benchmark you can register on each bit of software and it will post your scores online to compare with everyone else around the world with your same model so you can compare.
