    Hi Guys and Girls!

I'm new here, and have to start off with a question.

I had a little crash today with my scooter and had my Clevo P650SE in my Bag. When I got home I checked if it had suffered from the crash and well, it has. The screen got pressed against the body and now I have a line of dead Pixels across the screen.

I searched online, but didn't find what LCD is in the Laptop and I haven't seen anything on the panel itself.

Does anybody know wich panel is built into the laptop? I want to have the 3K again, or if easyer acquireable the 4K panel.

Thanks for your help and sorry for any mistakes, I'm from Switzerland, no native english speaker ;)

    Florian

Ouch, sorry to hear about the accident.

The 3K panel is the Panasonic VX16T020G00 . I would recommend contacting the company that you purchased the laptop from - they should be able to replace it for you or advise if they can sell you one instead. Sometimes buying LCD panels online is a bit luck of the draw, especially on EBay - always check that they have the exact panel that you need and not "we may supply an equivalent panel"!

The 4K models are as follows:

    Sharp LQ156D1JX01B (glossy)

    Sharp LQ156D1JW04 (non-glare/matt)

Though to be fair I don't think there are any really duff 3k panels.
