    New user.
Have the latest Catalyst version 12.11
Have made sure that in graphics switching 3dmark is high performance.

I'm getting a score of 976 as I think the inboard card is being used!
    What am i doing wrong?
Am a bit lost. Have had lots of problems running BF3 until I took off all the ATI drivers and re installed the original drivers from the Sager and finally got it working. Have since added the latest release driver and its still running but just this fault with 3dMark!
    Any help or advice.

Enduro, perhaps? But you're also using a beta driver, so that could be the reason. I've read that a lot of users can't get proper temp readings when using the beta driver, although the 12.11 driver gives better performance.

You can't get temp reading from Afterburner with 12.11, but I've never heard about the driver causing problems with switchable graphics.

OP, can you make sure your Clevo Control Center (press fn+Esc) is set to Performance, and your CCC Powerplay settings are set to Maximize Performance while plugged in.

Try setting global conditions to high performance.

One issue you may run into is the tests themselves are their own programs, so you may need to manually configure the test files to high performance from the 3dmark directory.

Many Thanks. I had the Clevo global settings in high performance but it was the CCC setting of maximum under the power tab that did the trick. Maximise performance while plugged in is now ticked.
Score of P5791 which it seems is about right for my system of I7-3720Q and HD 7970.
    Much appreciated.
    Thx

Yes that does seem spot on.

It's CCC that dictates the GPU settings but the latest driver versions let you link it to the power profiles if you like.

Whats your machine? If you own a clevo p150EM (i73610 and 7970M) you should get P6600 (i get 6615 or so) on 3dmark11 and 12.11p or 12.11 beta 11.
P5800 scores are the 12.9 and previous dirver versions scores, maybe you did not install the betas properly?

I am looking under device manager at the AMD HD 7970M and it shows 9.1.0.0 dated 13/09/2012.
I thought I downloaded the latest CCC drivers but perhaps I only put on 12.9! Will have a look now and upgrade.
    Thx

Ok. Installed latest beta and BF3 failed to run! And now going back to 12.9 that was the last one to work with the game.
    Works again with12.9 Beta.
Will leave it alone for now.

No 12.10? I guess if you don't feel comfortable - and as long as 12.9 works for you, then stick with it. 12.10 should work fine though, and you will probably get better performance out of it.

I installed the auto detect software and it said I was up to date.
I only bought the laptop to play BF3 and so far it has been a disaster after I upgraded the ATI drivers I just ended up with BF3 failure messages.
I thought it was the game but I think it was the drivers in the end.
I will try again to get to 12.11.
I can't see a reason why it would work with one and then fail under the other.

12.11 Beta and 6570 on 3d mark 11 but BF3 fails to run!

Try a clean uninstall using Driver Sweeper or something similar. You can try installing the driver manually as well and then run the setup utility over it.

Otherwise, do what you have to do.

    Thanks. Trying it now.

I give up. BSOD after using driver sweep. Restored to 12.9 and will leave it alone for a while. Shame, wish I hadn't chosen ATI now.
