    You don't have a 3D screen.

    I don't believe you can on that model of laptop. I believe you would need the 120Hz display and the glasses for it to watch 3D movies.

    I think the Satori (P170HM) from Malibal has a 120hz 3D screen. I have not seen this option from sager.

    You can however output to an external 3D tv/monitor but as others mentioned, not on the notebook screen.

    They would also have to be 3D movies as well. You wouldn't be able to just pop in any BluRay or DVD and turn on the 3D. Just specific titles would support it. An external monitor with Nvidia 3D Vision or a 3D TV are the two options.

    The 560m isn't a great card for running 3D (or at least, anything more complicated than movies). 3D will cut your gaming frame rates in half, for example.

    Personally I believe 3D is just a gimmick for such a small screen. The real good thing about the 3D screens is the 120hz framerate which could be quite noticeable to first person and racing gamers.

    Here's a simple run down on what is required for viewing/playing 3D;

    120Hz monitor
    Nvidia card, preferable 560 and above
    blu ray drive
    software that can play blu ray/blu ray 3D (PowerDVD is the only one I have used)
    3D glasses and usb emitter (sold by Nvidia)

    I have used an external monitor with my Sager NP7280 and played many 3D movies and a few games. My recommendation, not really worth it right now

    You don't need a 120hz monitor and the 3D Vision kit sold by Nvidia if you have a 3D TV. The other option is that you can use your own 3D TV (if it's a supported model from the list below) and the 3DTV Play software. It's a better option for those that already have a 3D capable display.
