This has been bothering me all weekend...

Can the Nvidia 9800M GTS in my M860TU send 5.1 audio via the HDMI port?
Some people say it can, others say it doesn't. I can't fully test it until my AV receiver arrives later this week, and I need to know whether to buy a Digital Coax cable or not.

    Thanks all

I went straight to the horse's mouth, and Sager confirms that the system fully supports sending 5.1 audio via HDMI.

Just FYI, I have a M570TU (NP5796) and I gain/loose audio support based on what nvidia driver I use. If you stay with the one installed by sager (quite old at this point) then everything is ok, but beware when updating to the newer drivers.
