So I got a new pair of Tritton AX Pro's for my birthday and I'm trying to hook them up to my Sager NP5797 running Win7 7137.

I have Realtek HD Audio and I can select the 5.1 Speaker option in the Audio Manager, but it won't let me set which audio port I want as the front(green), surround(black), and center/sub(orange). So I'm stuck with stereo coming in through one headphone jack.

Can anyone help? Is there an alternate way I can control audio on the machine other than the Realtek Audio Manager?

    Thanks!

you should be able to do 6-channel (5.1) using the analog jacks.

in the RealTek software, set the Speaker Config to 6CH ... then your three analog jacks will work.
