    Hi there people,

I just install wireless device in my laptop, when i say install i mean Open up the machine and put wireless card in place. So far so good, i go to windows (xp) and it recognize the new device, install the proper drivers (for intel/pro wireless 2200bg), everthings great. Execpt when i press FN+f11 the wireless card dont turn on/off. So i go to bios and search for something off, i dont see nothing. The wireless card is always on, that means the battery life will be minor.

    Can anyone help me ?

I don't know those laptops but are there any drivers/utilities on the company website that are responsible to manage hotkeys?

Many laptops have both: it's possible to enable/disable wireless with FN+something (software way) or by sliding/pressing a traditional switch somewhere on the side of the notebook (hardware way)

I can't tell you because I can't find big pictures of such Clevo notebook

One thing that often arrives is that a person tries to enable the wireless in a software way but it doesn't work at all because the hardware switch is OFF (it is the master controller)

It's always possible to disable it by going into the Device manager and right-clicking on it
