For some reason my buttons for scrolling and the pad for scrolling doesn't scroll in Firefox but it scrolls with everything else like in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.
Why is this and can I fix it?

I am guessing the touchpad is manufactured by Synaptics, if so then download the latest drivers from synaptics website. Older drivers had that issue with FF.

Actually, it's manufactured by ElanTech, unless they switched. I also cannot scroll in FireFox. In IE it works...I'd check their website for an update.

Hey I can't find where to download the drivers.
If someone can find them please let me know.
Oh yeah, I question:
Can you change the format of the time on the LED from a 24-Hour clock to a 12-Hour clock? -

No, I don't think you can change the clock from Military time to the normal 12-hour...you could try playing around with some of the Windows clock controls. I think that, if it were changeable, it would have an AM and PM indicator, which it doesn't.
The drivers are on the disc that came with your notebook, or you can go to Sager's website and download/install the latest touchpad drivers for your model. They just refreshed all their drivers for the 5320 and the 5720 series. -
I've installed the latest drivers for the touchpad and it still doesn't work in Firefox. Overall I find the scrolling feature poor in other applications also. My last notebook was an emachines and the scrolling was much much smoother.
I heard others say to update the drivers but maybe someone who has had success could post a direct link or something because the ones I downloaded from Sager don't make any difference.
I also find that there are various minor conflicts betwen my Logitech mouse software and the touchpad. I normally never install mouse driver software but for the Logitech MX518 it's necessary to utilize the adjustable resolution feature of this mouse.
It's possible that the problems people are having with the touchpad could be simply driver conflicts with mouse software. -
That's wierd. I used the drivers posted above, scrolling in firefox works great. I also upgraded to Firefox 1.5, that could make a difference.
And yes, when I got my laptop, it said it was an Elantech touchpad. The synaptics drivers work great for it, though. -
Many laptop trackpads with scroll sections have trouble with FF.
I have a friend with an HP having the same issue.
The solution I found on the web was actually to DOWNGRADE the synaptics drivers to a slightly older version.
No problems with the scrolling or touchpad in FF after that.
Link to the older version that works can be found here-

There is a thread in the Asus section with similar problems. They say that the absolute latest synaptics drivers solve the problem also.
