Hello, I have had a sager 5750 for 2 months now and Im loving it!

Yesterday, I was surfing the internet over the intel 3945 wireless card, and the connection dropped. I looked at the available networks, and none were present, my friend sitting next to me could see all the networks just fine. So I went to my home, and my wireless network didnt show up either. I looked at another computer and it was showing full signal for my network.

Also, the front display with the clock, does not show the little wireless icon anymore. The drivers are installed properly, and I reinstalled the intel software, the card itself shows up in device manager without any problems.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have contacted sager tech, but they are closed and Im waiting for one of their "call backs"

if the icon on the front LCD is not lit. then the wireless card is turned off.
hit Fn+F11 toturn it back on.

If that doesn't do it, then did you purchase thru a reseller? they may have extended tech support hours.

Well, thanks for your help Elminst, that was exactly what the problem was, haha, simple oversight on my part, I have always used desktops and I keep forgetting how much is hidden in the function keys!

    No problem.
Check your manual. there are lots of nifty things you can do with the Fn+Fxx keys.
