I want to know if this is possible...

I want to buy a 5760 with a x1600 and upgrade it later to the 8800... is this possible?

the Clevo M570U (aka. Sager 5760) currently tops out at 7950GTX.

There is no word that another videocard module will be made. Its possible, but very doubtful since the new high-end DX10 cards will require more optimizations in power and heat dispersion.

The new D900C and M570RU may initially ship with 7950GTX (new modular design), but due to the new modular design there is a better chance for high-end DX10 cards for upgrade.

In any case, the 7950GTX will remain a high-end videocard for notebooks. Even the new Geforce 8600's that you see cant match the power, only the rumored 8700M GT may be par with the 7950GTX, but w/ DX10.

He's telling you it might happen, but it probably will not.

I mean it'd be a wise choice to wait. But I had 5760 for about 2 weeks, and it was the best computer I've ever owned. It was fast!! It's really up to you whether you can stick around 1 more month, or not.. haha
