So here I am tryin to decided on if i want to lay to rest my Sager 8790 for a nice shinny new Sager 5760. I would like the help of fellow Sager owners.

    With the option of either,
    - nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB
    - nVidia Quadro FX 2500M 512MB GDDR3
being available July 5th, what are the diffrences with the two cards?

    GeForce Go 7900GTX 512MB
    Vertex Pipelines| 8
    Vertex Shader Version| 3.0
    PixelPipelines| 24
    Textures /Pipeline| 1
    Pixel Shader Engines|24
    Graphic Memory Bandwidth| 38.4 GB/sec
    RAMDAC| 600 mhz

    Quadro FX 2500M 512MB
    vertex Pipelines| 8
    Vertex Shader Version| 3.0
    Pixel Pipelines| ?
    Textures /Pipeline| ?
    PixelShaderEngines|24
    Graphic Memory Bandwidth | 38.4 GB/sec
    RAMDAC| 400 mhz

From anything i can find, these two cards have the exact same specs except for the memory speed. It would then seem the GeForce Go 7900GTX 512 would be Faster because of the memory speed, hence better gaming performance. If thats so, why is it when i got to price out my laptop on sagernotebooks.com or discountlaptops.com that the price of the fx 2500m is MORE than the 7900GTX? What am i missing here? Thanks for your imput.

the only difference is that the FX20005M is more optimized for OpenGL and other CAD (computer adied design) applications....while the GeForce 7900GTX is more towards gamming.....so the 7900 will be better in gamming....while the FX will be better in CAD applications (i would suggest the 7900)
