    5790 and riva tuner

    Gophn if you see this (or anyone else) can you help?

    i just installed the latest riva tuner 2.04 and iwant to be able to monitor my gpu/cpu/hdd temps however, my temps aren't showing up.

    i am running the stock drivers off of sagernotebooks.com and using windows vista 64.

    any help or insight greatly appreciated

    The new RivaTuner should wrok for Vista x64 fine.

    There might be some settings that you could try:
    - make sure that you have Admin privileges
    - make sure that you disable UAC - User Account Control (to test if thats the issue)
    - and you can try to run RivaTuner in a Compatibility Mode (like Windows XP SP2)

    are you sure the 5790 has a temp sensor on the gpu/cpu/hdd? its still notreading :( what am i doin wrong??

    i disabled uac, and ran it under admin

    many Clevo M570RU (sager 5790) owners use RivaTuner to monitor their temps.

    The ones that had the most success is were using Vista 32-bit... but the new version of RivaTuner should work fine with Vista x64.

    ok i got it to work i just had to switch it to the default montor as opposed to the pnp monitor......now i was wondering, to measure the hdd and cpu i have to download microsoft net framwork 2.0 however its only avil for xp and vista 32bit, am i missing somethin is there a 64 bit version or does it not matter?

    NHC is only for CPU and HDD stuff... not videocards.

    At the moment, NHC is for Vista 32-bit only I believe.

    That is why I recommended (for x64 people):
    - Everest
    - SpeedFan
