did you go into the Realtek Software... it will help you tell which ports do what.

you have at least 1 year of warranty.

But you should contact you vendor first, about your issue.

D900T/K chassis will NOT hold any other kinds of motherboards.

    Period.

No more future upgrades for the D900T/K in hardware.

I have the same issue. Sager told me it`s definitely hardware based, and it looks like a very common problem for systems with realtek audio. It sucks, but guess what, they have to change the WHOLE MOBO because the jack is broken. I could not send the system back just yet, so I went and bought a Creative USB sound card 5.1 and now I have an even better sound. (99$)

I think he meant he could not send it back because he needed it. Not that he was told not to send it back. There are a lot of people here that can't go for a week without there laptop. :) I know I can't with mine.

I can`t ship it back since I`m in Europe until June next year, so I went for the cheapest solution. Turned out that I got a better sound afterwards :D
Still , I knew the rick when buying the Sager form the US and going back to Europe...I just (as many others) did not cound on anything going wrong with it :| ( damn, 223 shipping one way = 446 shipping both ways) . Screw that, I`m not paying 500 bucks for a stinking audio jack  ,which, idiotically from my point of view is SOLDERED into the mobo, therefore they have to change the mainboard because of a little thing as the audio jack died.
    Talk about Sager/Clevo wonderful upgradeability...
You would think that they would at least separate the small parts so you could replace them if something went wrong. But no, they have to put a new 500$ mobo for a what, 2$ audio jack ?
    Pathetic
