    5790 keyboard input delay

    As the subject says I have been having some annoying keyboard input delays on this laptop....

    i have:

    5790 2ghz
    4gig ram
    7950gtx
    windows vista 64bit

    this has been a problem ever since i recieved the laptop.....at first i thought it was a probem that would go away after tinkering with some options but to my dismay the problem is still ongoing....as im typing this, im makin alot of corrections wiht my spelling because there isso much delay.......as far as i know there are no demanding processes opened that would cause this delay and as we speak the system is using 1.7 gigs of ram.....i fgure with my 4gb of ram this would not occur whatsoever

    has anyone else experienced this? is it is there a bios update to correct this? is it vista 64? ive done plenty of reinstalls yet the problem still remains......

    Sorry to hear that man. Thats definitely a problem, not vista 64 bit though. Cause i have 64 bit and it doesn't do that and this one is the 5791 with the same ram as the one i returned (5790). Both of them ran on 64bit and i didn't find any problems like what youre saying. Only thing i have is keyboard flex. but then again, u can't have em all :)

    make sure you contact sager or supplier today, hopefully you are not over your return period. even so, you can send it in for repair.
