the 8700 was shown to handle Crysis well, and its not that far behind 7950, while still have DX10. I only got 7950 cuz SLI 8700s arent out yet... for some unknown reasons... im def upgrading to 8800s now... DX10 shud optimize games, making them more efficient, besides new bells and whistles...

I believe it didn't say anything about how the 8700 handle Crysis... All it says is that Crysis looks "stunning" on the 8700 but it could be getting low frame rates... and I reckon Crysis would look stunning on any hardware comparing to other games anyway... :p

Thing is Maksin, the article says that Crysis also "runs very well" on the Toshiba Satellite x205 notebook. Of course we don't know what settings they used, but I am sure according to the reviewers, if they said that Crysis ran well, they weren't getting low frame rates... at least the frame rates I THINK you are talking about... like turning the game into a slideshow.

I didn't know in the actual article they said Crysis "runs very well"... All I see in the article is "Running on a high-powered Toshiba Satellite notebook packing a brand new DirectX 10-capable nVidia GeForce 8700M GT card, it can only be said that Crysis looked no less than stunning." But anyway... I guess the 8700 (same as an overclocked desktop 8600 GT) should do fine in Crysis. So no matter which card the OP choose to buy he can't go wrong. ;)
