Can you get any power adapter with the same wattage or does it have to be the ones offered by resellers like Xotic?

I imagine if it outputs the same power (volts and amps), and is of sufficient wattage, and has the corect connector (including tip-polarity), then it would work fine. Just make sure all those things are correct!

Any idea on the best price of an adapter? Xotic has it for 75 USD.

Prices vary based on the quality of workmanship, warranty period, popularity of the model (and thus availability of parts), and the source where the adapter is being purchased from. PCTorque and PowerNotebooks.com also have the adapter for around 75 dollars, so that seems to be a fair price at the moment. You might be able to find it cheaper at a discount battery/AC adapter site, but I tend to prefer to buy accessories from my original reseller on the assumption that they will assure the compatibility and quality of the product.
