So i've had the 5793 for awhile now and when i first got it the fan would come on in bursts. It would go to just short of medium speed for a min or two and then would go down to a mere whisper. Now the fan seems to stay on above medium speed all the time. I checked the vents and its not dusty or anything. Anyone have an idea of what may be going on?

All of this is going on for just simple web surfing and downloading stuff. The cpu idles around 42 C and its def the cpu fan thats making all the noise.

dust in the wind. get a dust can and blow out the fuzzy bunnies or dust mites.
also, you might want to invest in a good cooler.
