So my 5793 is working great so far, but the power brick has been making some odd noises. Yesterday (the day I got my computer) after using my 5793 all day running benchmarks, installing software, and downloading programs I started hearing this weird chirping noise coming from my power brick. That's right, a chirping noise...it kind of sounds like a really small cricket and it happens in an even tempo (chirp...and...chirp...and...chirp). I know it's coming from the power adapter because I unplugged it and it stopped. Anyway I shut down laptop hoping it was just a one time thing.
The next day I turned it on and the sound was gone, but once again after spending the entire day stressing the computer it started chirping again.
Could this be related to heat? It does feel pretty warm.

I'd immediately call my vendor. Anything related to your power brick not acting correctly or acting wierd is a huge potential fire hazard. Others my know this specific symptom but don't wait for us -- call your vendor now!
