Does the 5793 support two hard drives internally? I was looking through the manual and didn't see it.

    Thanks.

The NP5793 only supports one hard drive.

As an alternative, you can use a 1TB external eSata drive...

I use one for XP. Works out nice.

I do the same. Except the 5793 does not have eSata, only the 5796 :)

I have ordered an Esata cable for my new 750GB hard drive which supports it. I have only used firewire 800 and USB 2.0 for hard drive transfer. How is the Esata in comparison to these technologies?

I was close to ordering this due to the deal, but I need a scratch disk for Photoshop to use. If there's not second desk and no esata, I guess I'll pass. :(

The 9262 supports up to 3 internal HHDs though. You may want to take a look at that. It's also one of the most powerful [the most powerful?] laptops on the market.

Also you can use an expresscard esata adapter to get esata on it
