    When I spec out these two machines the way I want, they both come out to within 7 dollars of each other on XoticPC. Which one of these runs the coolest overall?

    there is no 5797. and 5796 has better cooling than 8660

    The 5796 being a bigger laptop has better cooling, and it also has 2 fans dedicated for the CPU and GPU.
