Hey everyone. I tried to do a search but for some reason the advanced search doesnt work for me as usual, and normal searches give me dozens of pages to look through.

I have the NP9150 and have been acustomed to using it with a wired network connection. Now that we have moved to a bigger house Ive been using wireless more. Does the integrated card on the NP9150 not support 5GHz? I can only ever see my 2.4GHz band.

If thats the case, what is the recommended aftermarket card I should look at?

The stock card is single band and won't be able to access the 5ghz. For that spectrum you'll probably want to look into getting the Bigfoot 1103 module.

    I have a P170EM & I got a Intel 6235 in mine. I'm looking to buy a Bigfoot Killer N 1103 Card online.
Will I be able to just swap out the Intel for the BigFoot without any problems?

Hey Invincible, good to hear from you again.

Yeah, it's basically a straight swap, the toughest part would be routing the antennas around the monitor bezel but its not the toughest thing to do. You can always send it back into us and have us do the whole thing.

Ah, but I don't have a spare computer. So I can't afford to send my laptop to you guys! Thanks for the information on how to swap it. I'll research it a bit more before attempting.
Will keep the Intel one if I need built-in bluetooth, to re-swap back. Good to have both :D

Update: Installed it, pretty straightforward install. Very happy with the range.
