    Hi there!

I asked Eurocom for the bracket for the drive that goes in the "universal" slot of the 5760 (battery and ODD). They want 60$cdn. Is this realistic or I am getting screwed? I was exoecting something 30ish $...

Just to make sure, this bracket accept SATA drives, right?

    Donald, Justin? :)

lol, yeah something in my head told me I was getting their web price  ...

[Edit: And in the end, I don't think it's just a web thingy to display way higher prices... I think it's sadly in the business mentality... When I 1st got a reply his price was 70$ ... Then I just replied: 70$?? ouch! And then got a : "oh sorry - it's 60$ - my apologies"... Pfff. They are very nice people, but just watch out when buying from them... Always compare first.]

Unfortunately, none of the 2 sales rep I dealt with in the past are working there, so the one that answered me doesn't know me yet  ...

Anyway, after I found the part I did a search and you're right I found it listed at ProCom and CompAmerica for 25$.

Let see what Eurocom is able to do and if they don't want, I'll get it from you.

    Other questions then
    • You can ship UPSP Priority Mail to Canada right?
    • And what about a nice Seagate 160gb ST9160823ASG to go with it? I can get it here at my online reseller for 185cdn$?
    • Finally, the 2nd drive can be made bootable in the BIOS right? I want to start up a new installation, but don't want to loose my current one...

    Man your quick lol!
