Prema did an amazing job with the bios! Think of the possibilities. You could even OC G.Skill RAM from 2800 MHz to even more.

I had seen results comparing G.skill with samsung RAM, and while G.skill can run at 2800 vs 2133, G.skill is CL18, while Samsung is CL15. This still translates to lower latency within CPU, and to higher data rates, so I guess that the added 667 Mhz to speed compensates for the higher latency class.

I wonder if this will apply too for the GPU vRAM, because I remember reading that HBM has low speeds and high latency, but much higher bus.

Graphics chips are much less sensitive to memory latency.

I have decided to order from them, as I found a configuration that I am happy with, and I am pretty happy with the final price (including VAT and Shipping). I have not ordered yet, because I must sell my current laptop, an Acer VN7-791G before, and in Romania it does take a while before I can manage to do that.

Anyways, thanks for recommending a great company! I am sure that all resellers have their strong points, and all of them are great in their own right, but the build I can get from HID actually satisfies my needs best at the moment, and I was happy with their attitude and very detailed responses for enthusiast-level and very specific questions.
