I am debating on whether to get a 660M or a 670M, I know battery life will be the same with both of these, but do you guys know how much the heat difference is? Also, I've seen the chart that lists FPS of current games with different video cards, but I haven't seen any other comparisons between the 660M and 670M. Is the 670M a "high-end" while the 660M is "mid-range"? Also if anyone who owns a 660M wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts, that would be great. I plan on using my laptop for gaming, but I don't need to run everything on Ultra to be content.

The default performances between these 2 cards are same but GTX670 get a much higher performance after OVERCLOCKING...

Although the 660m is Kepler based, it is the same chip used in the 640m, and 650m, just with higher clocks and memory speeds. It performs well, but still is overshadowed by the performance of the 670m. Just to match the 670m it has to be OC'd and therefore it is an uphill battle.
Here is a good thread discussing the performance of the two -
The structure "Keepler" get a lot of SP and made it hard to OC... and because of core frequency, 660M is not cool even it was made in 28nm...

PS, 570M and 670M are the same and you can see the marks from 570M OC
